A new chapter in Japan

Super GT with the Lexus Arto team, alongside a winning LMP2 Pro-Am WEC appearance with TDS Racing.

2018–19

The big stage

Third overall at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans. Overall victory at the 6 Hours of Silverstone and winner of the Tourist Trophy with Rebellion Racing.

2017

Le Mans: third at the finish

Third overall and second in LMP2 at the finish with Vaillante Rebellion, alongside Nelson Piquet Jr. and David Heinemeier Hansson. The car was subsequently disqualified after post-race technical checks.

2016

European runner-up

ELMS runner-up with Thiriet by TDS Racing: three wins and three pole positions. Also racing in LMP1 with Rebellion.

2014

World endurance title

FIA WEC LMP1 privateer champion. Class victory at Le Mans and fourth overall, alongside development of the Rebellion R-One.

Stepping into LMP1

Two overall WEC podiums with Rebellion Racing. Two ELMS wins in four races and a SuperPole appearance at the Spa 24 Hours.

THE BEGINNING

Karting to single-seaters

The journey began in karting before moving into single-seaters in Asia, including a runner-up finish in Formula Renault 2.0.

2009–2010

Discovering sports cars

Formula Le Mans opened the door to prototype racing, followed by a factory-driver role with Matech Racing in the Ford GT1.

2011 ONWARDS

Making racing a profession

Professional racing became my focus in 2011. The following year brought the ELMS title and a first Le Mans LMP2 podium.

01 / FACTORY TESTING

Toyota Gazoo Racing

A factory LMP1-H test-driver role in 2015, adding hybrid prototype experience to my endurance racing background.

02 / PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT

From LMP1 to LMP3

Development work on the Rebellion R-One and R13, the Ligier JS P320 and Adess prototypes. Ligier factory-driver responsibilities included JS P320 development.

03 / TYRE DEVELOPMENT

Finding the feeling

LMP1 tyre development work with Dunlop, alongside Goodyear development experience recorded in my racing background.
